| i am getting closer to pulling the trigger on a BCM middy, and until I can get ahold of the new MOE handguards, is there a preference out there between either the Cav Arms or RRA handguards? Thanks. |
| I have the Cav Arms C-8 tapered handguards installed on my Bravo mid-length, and like them a lot. Brownells carries them. Try doing a Google search to look for discount/promotion codes for Brownells; their shipping charges can be expensive, unless it's a small item. IIRC I've read here that the RRA handguards are OK, too. |
| I can not speak for midlength, but i bought Rock River rifle length handgaurds from Bravo Company to go with the 20" upper I got from them, and they fit together and feel very well. It just depends on what feels better in your hand. I know for me on a carbine length system i like the m4 vs the standard handguards. |
