| I'm looking at buying my first Ar15. I'm trying to find out some information about the maker of the gun. Its a S.G.W / Oly arms. I have heard both good and bad about Oly arms but I'm hoping that this one being an older model it might be better. It doesnt have the Oly lion on it so I think that means its from the early 80's. It has a 20 inch barrel, free float, bipod and a scope. I talked the guy down from $900 to $700. I've heard that the AR system can have its issues so I just dont want to get burnt. Any info would help. |

$700 can buy you a new AR15...and a decent one like a Stag Arms.
Sounds like a rip-off to me, I'd avoid it. EDIT: The Stag Group buy is still going, you can everything minus a lower for $643 shipped to your door. Pick up a lower for $100-$120 and you've got a goot gun for CHEAP. |
