I have currently have 5 ARs and want to build an M4. I'm getting a 14.5" M4 profile barrel tomorrow.
Here are my available components for the build:
14.5" barrel as noted above
A2 FH
Flat top receiver
LMT SOPMOD stock
Aimpoint ML2 and LaRue Cantiliver mount of Larue QD low mount (see rail options below)
Knights RAS II rail (requires use of LaRue low QD mount)
MI MacTar 20 rail (7" FF rail)
MIAD Grip
Knights VFG
LMT registered SBR lower
Hardgear, LLC registered mg lower
Spikes 12" Havoc 37mm launchers with plenty of 37mm CS and smoke
LMT style solid BUIS
Magpul BUIS
VTAC 2 pt sling
I'mn trying to build this with things I already own so I'd prefer to not buy any other components.
Below is a picture of my Mk18 rifle. Differs primarily do to the MRP upper rather than a DD LR. I really want an M4 to compliment this weapon so should I use the MI rail or the RAS 2. Should I use the LMT or the Magpul BUIS?

OK not a lot of help. Let me give you some more pics. I want to build an M4 that is a reasonable facsimile of a real M4. I want to use as many parts as I can that I already have.
Here is the question. Should I use a Midwest Industries carbine length FF rail with the pictured aimpoint and LT cantilever mount or should I use of the pictured Knights RAS 2 and LT/ AImpoint combo pictured on the OD AR. BTW that's an LMT 1:7 twist 14.5" barrel
ohh yea we do have the extra hole
