Has anyone ever cut down a FSP or should I just replace it with a gas block.

| I have done it and it worked fine. I removed it, cut it, sanded it down and painted it with some alumahyde 2 in flat black. Then reinstalled it to go under my FF handguards. If it is going to be visible then I would have probably purchased a nice low pro one but since it was under my handguards and really not visible I saw no need to spend the money. |
