Well after a ton for research and reviews I finally ordered a Timney 4# skeletonized trigger for my Colt. After many long hours going back and forth between a single and two stage, I decide to stick with what I know and use on every other gun, which is a single stage. I know that some Timney's have problems and some dont so hopefully I will get a good one the first time around but if not there is always that lifetime warranty till I get a good one. I dont plan on shooting service rounds but I might see if they will send me a AR10 hammer spring just in case I start getting light primer strikes. I went out the other day and put a few more rounds through the gun and decided that the stock trigger feel is just junk and it maxed out a 7# trigger scale with ease, I plan on keeping it as a spare and dont want to modify it because if zombies do attack it is still the most reliable. On a related side note... I ordered it from weaponparts.com (second order I have placed with them) and it looks as though I might be getting a set of KNS gen 2 pins for free with the trigger.
