| i just got my first black gun well the lower but hey you need to to start some where it's a rra lower w/two stage trigger and adj stock any way my ? is i local shop has a dpms upper m4 flat top w/hand gaurds my ? is how is dpms in the long cust service and the price is 545.00 is that good or no thanks for the any help |

$545 sounds a little high for a dpms upper to me PK has them for $499.
You have the lower already that is the only part considered a firearm. You can buy an upper online and have it shipped right to your house without a FFL. |
| Seems like a high price. The site sponsors at top of page are great to deal with and will have the best prices on the internet. DPMS is a decent starter rifle (my first upper was a DPMS Sportical), but be patient and you can find a little more quality in that price range. Spend a few days reading the threads to educate yourself on the different brands and what they offer as well as the AR15 in general. You will be infected with B.R.D. in no time...Enjoy!! |

Either way, congrats on the start. You could definitely get better for that price. Read and research a little more before you pull the trigger on the upper. They may all look the same but, quality counts and it will eventually show. |
