While doing a thorough cleaning on my M&P, the little piece at one end of the extractor that has the spring & "O"ring fell off. Did I just break my extractor??? It has a little hole about 1/8" diameter & maybe 3/32" deep for that piece to seat. I got it all together by holding the bolt carrier upside down. Upon completion I cycled the gun 6-7 times & everything felt like it always has. I would like to hear from someone smarter than me(which ain't hard) before sending a round through it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't really think it's broke since I looked at Midway USA & they have just that little part for sale without having to even buy a new extractor but would still like to hear from someone out there.
