I was looking at buying one and came across this. These Colt 6920's are built using the smaller (.154) diameter pins     What does this mean and are all le6920,s built this way.

Colt changed their pin size to be standard to that of what everyone else uses. That is all.

Colt used to use larger diameter pins in the fire control group (trigger and hammer pins) so people could not install full auto fire control groups. The smaller pins they use now are the same diameter as everyone elses. In other words, you don't have to look high and low to find the stupid large pin parts in stock. You can use the standard diameter pins most aftermarket trigger manufacturers make their trigger sets fit. Small pins=good

+1 They used oddball oversized fire control pins and just recently changed back to standard. Very desirable because any standard trigger and hammer will fit now.

Botach Tactical had them for $1100 shipped if you just register at   botachdefense.com   . I have used them for small and large purchases and never been screwed. There are many others here that feel much different....

See disclamer

ETA: just checked.... still $1100 shipped, while you are at it I would like one too, lol. you may find one for a little cheaper, though I doubt it.

I checked and the price is $1160 shipped. I don't think I qualify for the member discount unless they give it to anyone. Individuals On A Case By Case Basis

All you have to do is register fot the discount, but you have to register at botachdefense.com   instead of botachtactical.com

See disclaimer.... again

ETA: sorry, I forgot I ran out of room in my disclaimer before I got Botach in there.... but I don't work for them either, lol.

That is early 2009, around the same time the 6940 came out.  They are currently up to 70XXX...

My 6920 has the large pins yet 52XXX. There was a thread here trying to narrow it down you might search for. I think a member said his in the 54xxx had the small pins at that point, but you might want to verify for yourself.
