[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Building a AR-15 Using an Armalite Upper

I am trading for an Armalite M15A4 upper, with take off carry handle. I have to use for a stripped lower either a RRA or a Double Star. I also have a standard or a RRA NM trigger group. Has anybody had any experience with this upper? I am building only as a entry level type AR. Shooting some paper, but wanting to be ready for the basic SHF senerio(sp). Please advise. I've owned both an Armalite factory rifle and currently have an Armalite upper on my favorite carbine. Both ran with no problems, good stuff if you ask me. May I ask what your trading for it?

I have a Sites Spectra HC 9MM pistol. But I am getting a lot more then just the upper out of the deal.

Nothing wrong with ARmalite, I built my rifle with an AR upper, lower, BCG, and FCG. It's run perfectly from the first shot. Very happy. They are the original, after all! Can't say how they compare to the others.
