| I'm looking at buying a DEL-TON M4. Anyone had good/bad experiences with DEL-TON products? |
|
I ordered my DelTon M4 upper almost exactly one year ago, it arrived 28 weeks later. The fit and finish are great, and so was the price. It's been to the range a few times and shoots perfect.
I recommend them if you don't mind waiting for a while... OK, make that a long while. |

very good kits. I have built a few and they are great quality. good customer service. don't shoot wolf or steel cased or reloaded ammo through them as it voids the warranty. the backorders suck and they aren't pushing guns/kits out very fast. it is starting to pick up however. |

I'd steer clear of anything that won't shoot steel cased ammo. ARs shoot be able to shoot anything in it. I wouldn't assume for a second a Del-Ton rifle "won't shoot steel cased ammo". It will. I suppose they have their reasons for stating it would void the warranty, but they're probably based on lack of faith in the overall QC of steel-cased ammo sources. |

Been looking for a tactical .223 for about 8 months. The sky-hi prices are starting to drop a little...the DelTon was on sale and seemed comparable to the others I've looked at (DD, Stag, Bushmaster, etc.) Just never heard of it before. Not really comparable to DD . If you can find a DD for the same price as a del ton jump on it |
