I just acquired this lower for my next build, and it has an extra 1/4x28 screw hole adjacent to the grip screw hole. It came complete with a set screw, and the hole is threaded all the way through into the trigger area.
Anyone know what it's for? It looks like it might be useful to adjust the trigger reset length.

It is to adjust the trigger take up.



Go ahead and build your lower.  Then, adjust that screw to the point that your safety won't work anymore.  Then, back it off one complete turn.

Will that work OK with my RRA two-stage trigger as well?
This will be the lower for my Spike's .22LR upper.
