im leaning towards a timney 4 lb solid. but id figure id ask the board for other opinions on good triggers for benchrest shooting.

Timney's can have some creep.  I would stay away from a $200 that has ANY creep.

Some have none, others have a little.  Not even worth the risk on a $200 trigger IMO.

If you want a two stage,  A GSA Hi-Speed is great if you have the $.   A $120 CLE would be a very close second choice for me.

Single stage, and only a 4 lb. trigger...$35 Bill Springfield, would be a option.
