[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Selector detent question

I recently decided to paint my MIAD, MOE stock and hanguards krylon brown. In removing the grip for paint I noticed the selector detent (It was new when the MIAD was originally installed) was beat to hell. Still works and I put it back in there because I didn't have a spare, but I was curious as to whether or not anyone has worn one of these out or had it fail? Just curious, thanks.

I don't know how long yours was in or how often you used yours, but mine has been damn near perfect. I have taken the grip off a handfull of times to mess with the FGC, change grips, add safetys, ect and no real signs of serious wear.
