I've had a Colt 6731, completely stock, for about 15 years.  Should I be embarrassed to own this gun or is it pretty good?  It seems like there are so many variations and makers now that an old stock gun like this might not be "socially acceptable" anymore.

Should I hide this gun from "polite society" , throw it away, or just continue to use it?

i got one too. they are great.    just a ban  version of a 6721 is all it is.  I have had it for years   and its never let me down.  I remeber when all the   magazine experts scoffed at any carbine without a fixed A2/A1 style stock for more durability.  my how that changed

if you were going to throw it away, shoot me your address and I will gladly retrieve it from your can.  Nothing wrong with a functioning rifle.

Sweet. It actually isn't completely stock, I put in a new trigger. I don't remember which brand but I got it from Brownells.  It really did a nice job. I keep going back and forth on whether or not to free float it.
