Was thinking about building my own H2 buffer since I've got a couple spare H1s. So how does one remove the rubberized bumper after removing
the roll pin from the tube body?? tried to "pop" it out with a drift with no success. Will this come free, or is it permanently installed? Thanks!!! |

Ah, got 'er done. Broke a punch in the process, but we now have a regular non-H carbine buffer and the highly desirable H2. The new toy
has taken up residence in the back end of my 6921LE. After this experience, I'll know enough to use a heavier diameter punch! |

Quoted: Anyone know of a source for the plastic bumpers? I have an older carbine buffer with a broken bumper end. It would make a nice spare if I could find a replacement bumper. -Z Email me your address and I'll send you one. My plugs are not drilled, so you will need to drill the hole for the roll pin. |
