I just finished my first build which i built from the ground up.  My concern is when i have the safety on the bolt sticks to the back position everytime i cycle the rifle.  After some inspection i found the culprit, it seems that when the safety is on the hammer doesn't move very easily as it does when in the fire position.

Is this normal and will it cure itself over time as the lower parts start to wear in?

Not trying to insult you or anything, but are you doing this with an empty magazine inserted?  just making sure

I did this with no mag.  Thats besides the point because i can cycle the rifle in the FIRE position very easily and (opening up the rifle) i can oscillate the hammer up and down easily , but once i put it into the SAFE position the bolt sticks to the rear and i have to lightly tap it for the bolt to finish cycling and cannot oscillate the hammer easily.

lower parts don't wear in. (except for trigger sear in a few hundred rounds)

It should work right the first time is put together.

If no mag is in something is not right.

Post pick of inside the lower if possible.

well i have some good news, it seems the more and more i cycle it, the better and better it cycles. so i'm just going to keep cycling it and it appears all will be good. Just wanna say thanx tho
