Can someone recommend a decent bench rest for sighting in my rifle.

Thanks

Get a bag (or 3) of beans from your local grocery store, fill a few socks, stack, and happy shooting.

Caldwell and Protektor make the best bags you can buy. They are well worth the money, just dont leave them out in the rain like I did.
Another way is to get a good bipod (Harris) and use a rolled up towel for the rear. I use this when I dont have a bag with me.

Their rest is very good. Bare in mind, you must get the correct forend rest to match the gun you are shooting. For example, a light varmint gun is different than a sporter rifle is different than an AR (not taking in to account the variablity in handguards...)

I use Caldwell - good stuff.

I've used EVERYTHING under the sun.....Uncle Mikes shooting bags, gun vises, bull bags, etc.

I finally found a combination that works the best for me: find a good quality front rest like Caldwells Rock, a couple of "elbow" bags for your shooting arm and a rear sandbag or two for the butt of the rifle. I fill my sandbags with kitty litter, this keeps their weight to a minimum. YMMV.

I have a San Angelo bench and love it.
