I finally get to pick up my new AR this wednesday, S&W MPFT15, yep its the model for those of us living in communist states |
| I bought a M&P-15 ORC a few months ago, and it had a mil-spec tube that instead of having the position holes in it, had one threaded hole. The locking lever had a screw in it that threaded into the hole. I had to buy a new mil-spec buffer with the position holes and now have a new MOE "fixed" stock. |

Don't try this unless you can get it confirmed...
I believe you could do the following: Move the stock to where you want it, Drill a hole the size of a small roll pin in the stock and slightly into the buffer tube. (DO NOT DRILL into the section of the tube where the buffer slides back and forth. - Drill where the stock is normally pinned, on the left side of the stock close to the bottom) Tap the roll pin into the hole until flush. I don't believe you would drill all the way though. That would be too easy for wackos to tap the pin out and move the stock wherever they want |
