[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Buffer buffers?

Anyone used any of the available "buffer pads" that stick on the face of the recoil buffer? Their claim is to reduce wear, but the only wear I've ever seen on my buffers is strictly cosmetic as it rotates against the back of the BC. And part of me worries that it could fall off and jam up the FCG.

Hmm, I may have just answered my own question.
