just wanted to see what you guys thought about them?

Good products, not the best. Horrible wait times with so-so customer service (Uppers). If I had the option, I would look somewhere else.
It would help if you told us what you were looking for.

If you want a kit or upper from them be prepared for a long wait.

I've got one of their kits, I'm happy with it, but the wait is still quite long. Give them a few months to get everything caught up and they should be good to go.

Probably closest to Bushmaster quality wise.  Long wait.  For the money / wait I'd just buy a Bushie or RRA from PKFirearms or buy all BCM products.

What are you looking to get?

my delton kit is solid and eats any ammo I feed it.  Top notch in my book without the top notch price.

I bought my upper before the hysteria started.  The upper was great, as delivered.  But I stripped it to make a different configuration.

At that time, the customer service was first rate.  They got caught flat footed like a lot of companies and I stopped ordering from them.  I wasn't going to wait months for some pins and springs.

When they get caught up I'll order from them again.

i too picked up one of their middy uppers before the crazy started - had it in a week or so - went w/ the middy, 1:9 cl hbarrel (all they had at the time) and yhm lw ff rails.  i knew what it was before it got here and i was ok w/ it and didn't need 4150brl stl, etc...that type of stuff.   i do have bcm bcg for it, but may just use that bcm bcg for a bcm ss upper....decisons, decisions or hell may sell the del-ton....as i don't need 2 di middy uppers and it is still a virgin w/ the exception of what del-ton put through to test it out (you gotta love fucked up neurological issues

).  fit and finish is very good - the yhm rails are a bit light in color compared to the upper, which i think is the teflon finish but that is no issue w/ me - everything looks good and would buy from again for the price.

I've got a Del-Ton rifle (assembled by me), and it is a little tempermental with wolf. If I keep it clean and wet it works fine, but if not, it likes to stick casings.

I have a few of the Del-tons and in my opinion they are the most underrated builder out there.  My rifles are absolutely rock solid and haven't let me down once.  During the madness their customer service was exceptional.  Must have been hundreds and hundreds changing orders all the time yet when I called, and actually got through, they were friendly and helpful.  The company didn't raise prices during the rush and, judging by the order numbers, they were doing a serious business.

Like someone else said, I didn't see the need for 4150 when my hbars were going to be chrome-lined anyways.  I did upgrade the bolts to bcm and kept the originals as backup.  Something I would do anyways.  I think they have an excellent price point.  I think you don't hear much cause there's not a whole lot to complain about.  Someone satisfied will tell their friend but someone that got a bad deal will scream out to everyone online.

There are better out there but when is good enough, enough?  Unless you want to spend  more money I would consider Del-Ton in whatever configuration.  Best bang for the buck.

Edit:  Yup, you'll wait for your order.  They're catching up but still it's going to be months.

Love mine.  Got it exactly a year ago this past weekend.  Got a mid-length.  It was just before the panic buying began. Bought the upper, lower and lpk separate for a smidge under 600.  It's also shot everything I've put through it including several steel cased varieties.

Great Product.

Yes, you may have to wait, but that is because they are popular and busy.

Oh, did I say Great Product!

Great People!

Don't hesitate to place an order with them.

I have 2 they have built up for me, and 3 lowers left to do.

I had to wait and I am a walk in customer, because they are busy.

Don't let the I in a hurry crowd, who are complaining, scare you away.

I have the regular 16" A2 carbine. Purchased almost a year back before the election.

Only issue being the forward assist rollpin worked out.....almost out after a bunch of shooting. Probably wasn't centered up properly from the factory. Not for sure about that, but the rollpin drove back in tight, and has stayed tight and in place for quite a bit of shooting since.

I had looked at DTI rifles and carbines for some time before I bought mine. They were at about every gunshow, and what my favorite dealer stocked most of, as far as AR brands go. Honestly, I had thought they were a well established AR maker! Came to these forums and discover they must be fairly new to the AR scene.
