I would like to put some flip up front sights on my quad rail instead of using the FSB. My question is do i need the FSB to secure the NON-freefloat rail in place?
Thanks |

Thanks You're going to need something there to hold the handguard cap in place. You can either do the poor mans gas block and just take a dremel and remove the top of the sight post or you can buy a flat top gas block. Either way you going to need something so that the handguard stays in place. Now if you had a freefloat quad rail you would not need anything since the spikes .22 doesn't use the gas port. |

I thought drop-in quad rail clamps on the barrel nut, hence eliminating rotational movements |
