When looking on gunbroker i notice most people say XX amount of rounds shot through it still in new condition..

How many rounds is the average life of a gun? I am sure it varies greatly but is there a good average?

How many rounds can i put through my colt 6920 before its considered done?

There is no magic number.  Bolt and barrel might last 10-30,000 rounds...but then they can just be replaced.  As long as the weapon is taken care of,  kept clean, dry and stored properly, it will last forever.  Just replace parts as they wear out.
