Very nice, thanks.  I'm brainstorming for my 3 gun rig, so those pics are helpful!

I'm thinking all I need to mount to the handguards is a flip up front sight and a KAC hand stop, so the VTAC should work well for me, as long as I can find the ever-elusive 2" rail section for the hand stop!

The top rifle (the gray one) is my 3 gun rifle, works great.

I ordered 2 of the 2" rails from JP's Website Monday and got them Tuesday. Viking Tactics also shows that they have them.

They're showing out of stock on JP's site.  And Rainier.  Thanks for the heads up on Viking, though.

Question for people who have these setups. How do you add the mini rail lengths to them? IE is do you have to remove the entire vtac rail to install them? Looks like it would just be a few screws at the back to slide the entire main rail off.

Heck yea!  Its one of the few threads with this many pictures in the first page.  I'd call that Pic Thread success.

You could take the rail off, but you don't have to. It's a bit of a pain with fat fingers like mine, but I use a screwdriver wedged behind the rail to hold in place while I get a screw started.

Is removing the rail just taking the few back screws off and sliding it off its mount? I have big hands and don't see myself wedging them behind it easy.

The screws come in from the outside, through the actual rail.  They thread into that "slotted" back plate that goes on the inside.

To install you need to get the back plate lined up with the slot you want it to go in and then put the screws in.

I clamp my barrel in a vice with the slot that I want to use at the 6 o'clock position.  Gravity will keep it in place long enough to get a screw or two started.  I've also used one of the long wooden cleaning q-tips through one of the other slots on the tube to hold it in place.  Fingers may work on those first slots.

Taking off is as easy as removing the screws and letting the backer plate slide out the front of the tube.

Very nice.  I'm in the process now of testing/choosing between a TA47 and a TA33.  The TA11 might be in my future on a different gun, though.

This is one of the baddest set-ups of all time.  THAT'S how a rifle should look.
