Anyone have any experience with one ? Is the 6.8spc the only cal available ? Accuracy and reliability ?

Also what is the street price on these ?
Is the regulator adjustable ?
There is a 2 page test in the Sep. issue of American Rifleman, not much info there though.

I'm curious about the REC7, too. I haven't seen anything on the various AR boards and can only assume that Barrett is not currently shipping for whatever reason.

Cold, one of the Moderators here, guided me to the 6.8 forums. Best street price I've found so far was from my local dealer on special order for $2299. No word on delivery times.

I called Barrett this morning and was told that the guns were on production backorder. They might be available in 3-4 months.

Is it a SPC II or DMR chamber? I wouldn't get a 6.8 unless it was rated for the 'hot' ammo.
