Ok...this I'm sure is a dumb question. I'm not a complete newb as I served 7 years in the Army...so I'm familiar with the AR platform. But I just picked up a Del-ton M4 and I have no idea what the T marks are on the top.

They are so you can re-mount things in the same spot. Aimpoint goes on t-6, 3x9 goes on t-9, etc.

This some QD mounts such as Larue will return to zero if you remount them in the same spot.

T=Top, B=Bottom, L=Left, R=Right. The numbers are references so things like optics, lights and VFGs go back in the same place if you take them off......like to pack them in a case...
