Hey all,

Is there a good source out there for practical targets?  I'm talking like IPSC style, or silhouette type targets.  Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I print a bunch of different kinds on my laser printer.  Sure, they aren't huge, but they're great for pistol and rifle alike.  You can search Google for targets and find a bazillion sites with free, downloadable targets.

The mall.

I would just draw my own up in photoshop, print out a copy and then dupe it at a copy shop.

Grocery store. Ask for 'paper' when they're bagging your groceries. BSW

For precision I use post it notes from Orifice Max.

Try this software for printing your own targets...It is cheap too and has a great selection of targets...

That first website is where I get my Transtar w/vital anatomy targets.  The second has cool targets, but they are overpriced imo.

MGM Targets has a good price on IPSC targets, I have found them to be very good to do business with.

I wouldn't go with IPSC unless you want to use IPSC style target stands though - which is OK for training, putting up targets at different locations ETC.  Otherwise I just cut my own out of cardboard which are about the same size minus the arms.

For rifle, I bought a pack of shoot-n-see targets from Wal-Mart and I xerox copies of them to practice. It beats buying tons of targets

For shotgun, I got some turkey targets from a NWTF convention and I xerox copies of those and use them.

Raid the neighbors recycle bin....

Seriously though.  I made some on microsoft XL.  Full page of 1/4" Grid Squares and filled in a + in the center, not only gives me an aiming point but allows me to get a quick reference on the size of the group or amount of adjustment needed.

I really like the paper grocery bag.  Price is right!

I have a few targets here.
