| I have a Sabre Defense 24 " barrel with M4 extension and a DPMS Low Pro without M4 ramps. Somewhere on here it says that is not the best but OK. I will be shooting targets with heavier bullets. Has anyone ever used this combination or something like it with 69 grain plus bullets? Any problems? The barrel cost quite a bit, so I want an upper that performs right. Guess I could see if ADCO would cut ramps in the upper, but I am not sure that would do anything good. |
| In the Industry section, I asked DPMS if they were going to do a Lo-Pro with M4 ramps. The answer is that all their assempled uppers and rifles have them, but stripped uppers do not. I checked a DPMS upper and there they are. Go figure. Personally, I don't give a hoot for or against the ramps. I just want to make sure these heavier bullets will cause no problems. I am 66 and can't clearly see the food on my plate, so dremeling is out of the question for me. |
