I have a Colt 6921 upper laying in my safe that became a spare when harvested the DS lower I had on it for a SPR build last year, I would like to replace it with a Colt lower.

Do you guys know anywhere that carries stripped Colt lowers?  I have seen a few complete lowers in the EE for $650 , But damn, thats 2x what others are going for right now... and since I have seen complete 6920 rifles for as low as $1100 that price just dont make since.  And I already have a spare lower parts kit laying around.

Thanks, Merc

You might try specialized armament warehouse but last I heard the stripped 6920 lower was around $495

SAW hasn't had lowers for months, they've been out of a lot of stuff. I am still waiting for mag catches to complete the LPK's I bought from them at the beginning of the year.

SAW is your best bet for stripped lowers but like the guy above said, they haven't had any for a long time.  Call them anyhow, see if you can get on a list.  Maybe that Dennis Todd guy here on this site, he deals in Colt uppers, barrels, BCGs etc, do not know if he does lowers.  My question is you are going to get a colt lower but not a colt LPK?  Any proud Colt owner would definitely tsk tsk you.

If I wasn't down range, I would sell you one of my lowers.  I have no need for it.

Good luck.

ETA: Keep a good eye on gunbroker, as the frenzy is fading out, and guys with large hoardes are letting stuff go and dealers are dropping prices, you may be able to pick up a Colt complete lower for around $500.

He says he can find them for $650 and doesn't want to pay that much and you send him a link to one over $300 dollars more?

iF YA GOTTA HAVE A PONEY ON IT, YOUR going to pay . why not sell the upper or use a Mega lower . you will be in it too much if you use a Colt lower . (this from a guy that has 8 Colt's )

With the price of 6920s dropping, it would probably make sense to purchase a complete 6920 and sell the upper.
