Anyone use these buffer springs that Larue sells?

I ordered one alone with a CMT spring from Rainer and the Super Dutyspring is a few inches longer and definitely harder to compress, I was just wondering what the positives are with this spring and why someone would use one over a regular buffer spring?

Probably a cheaper alternative to using a heavy buffer or FA BCG. Don't quote me on this though, because I actually have no idea.
