I went out with a friend today to shoot his new Ar. The gun would fire the first round, eject it and chamber the next round. I went to fire the next round and the hammer would not fall. I then heard a click and noticed the trigger moved slightly forward. I pulled the trigger and the rifle fired. It happened again on the next round but the trigger did not move completely forward. I pushed the trigger forward, heard the click and the rifle fired. What could be causing the trigger to stick and not completely reset.

Sounds like a FCG problem.  Who installed it and who's parts?

Something is under the trigger and not letting it reset. I've seen it popped primers under the trigger. Make sure there isn't anything foreign in the fcg. Particularly under the trigger.
