Damn, that's just $50 more than I payed for mine the day after the election.

Their 6920's are $1250, but their 6940's are $1850

$1350.00, was $1450 a few weeks ago when I bought mine, so they are coming down and Clyde's was a pleasure to deal with. They even exhange my first rifle that had a bad finish from the factory with no questions asked, all taken care of and I had a new rifle in 48hr's.

Looks like Jensen's is selling them for 1275 on GB.

I'm sure they'll be relisting them again soon, they don't appear to be selling fast anymore.

Just bought mine serial number 64xxx for $1250 shipped. Check out gunbroker. Never thought I would say it but the prices are actually better on there right now. A lot of dealers are wayyy over stocked and dont know what to do, but they wont admit it obviously.  Ive watched sellers with ads stating that they had the "official colt 6920" and they are "selling fast", It just so happens that these dealers have dropped their prices on these "rare" fast selling rifles by hundreds of dollars over the past few weeks. I would not pay more then 1300 shipped right now. Wait a week, they will be even lower. Lots of no reserve auctions on GB too right now, with people actually bidding relatively reasonably for a change, and buyers using walking away with the rifle for 12 hundred.

Well, I sent an email to usautoweapons.com telling them that I was in the market for a 6920 and found it offensive that they increased their prices when their stock went down.  I went on to state in the email that would not be spending my money there anytime soon.  Well, since then I received an email and a phone call, with an apology, stating that the actual price is $1,250 (there was a problem with the company that posts their web prices) and they want my business.  I am shocked, and I kind of feel like a putz...not sure why, just do.  Maybe it's because I just bought a 6920 elsewhere since then, I didn't even let them respond.

Anyway, I just wanted to set the record straight, I was fast to critisize and I believe that it should work both ways.  They do not seem like the gouging type and if you have an issue with them, let them know and I am sure they will do what they can to fix it.

i sent an email to Mark on Saturday afternoon.  My CC hadnt been billed yet and i noticed that the price had gone up and the inventory down ( I was the first to order!)- I was fixing to get super pissed of i got charged $1500!

Mark called me back today and explained that $1250 was indeed the price and as the previous poster noted, the price increase really was a glitch.  My rifle should be here on Wed!

Wow!  The both of you really don't know what you are talking about and prove it post after post.

So a Bushmaster rifle that sells for $1K is actually more rifle than the supposed $750 Colt?  Really now...........

Keep checking the following site. They always seem to post the best deals on a variety of rifles. I usually see some 6920s posted a couple times a week under $1250

Who said anything about Bushmaster being better than Colt...  Ever?

$750 is what the .gov pays per rifle as dictated per current contract with Colt.

What the Government pays per large order contract and MSRP for civilian sales are completely different.  I am just throwing a random brand out there in Bushmaster.  Almost every AR out there costs more than $750.  For $1250 who makes a factory complete gun that uses the same materials/testing as Colt?  Or better yet, who for that price exceeds those specs?

First you must explain what testing Colt does that is important and how not doing that testing could effect the end product.  From there I can compile a list of competitive ARs.

I'm pretty sure the OP was looking for a recent price check from individuals who have purchase 6920s.  He wasn't looking for politics or a brand comparison.  BTW, I have not recently purchased a 6920.

It's clear the "rush" for the ARs is dying down finally.  Prices obviously reflect it.  Now if the ammo would come down just a bit.  Jeeezus.

I had one free when I was in too, does that mean I got two?  FWIW This is my own personal rifle paid for with my own funds.
