I think I put a colt trigger and hammer in my lower but don't know how to tell?
I know the dis-connector is colt because of the C stamped on it but the trigger and hammer looks just like the one in my 6920 except for the 6920 I have now has the .170 FCG pins, but the Colt the FCG came from had .154 pins but I don't remember if I put the colt hammer and trigger in this lower out of the small pin 6920 or if it still has the CMT trigger and hammer. I do know the trigger on the 6920 I have now looks different only because just one side of it protrudes under the safety selector and the trigger in the other one both sides of the trigger go under the safety selector, but this could just be the difference between the .170 pin FCG and the .154 FCG and they both could still be colt. I just cant tell. If your wondering why I care is because I got the FCG mixed up when cleaning the first 6920 I got that had the small pins with a CMT FCG I was cleaning at the same time for my 6.8 build, I know I ended up with all the colt FCG springs and dis-connector when I put the two back together (the colt was being returned to the factory because the finish was messed up and being replaced with the one I have now) but can't tell if I ended up with the colt trigger and hammer as well. Any help? |
