Tweak had one.  I'll see if I can find it.  It might be in the downloads section still.

There is a very good one in Chapter 2 of TM 9-1005-319-23&P (http://www.ar15.com/content/manuals/TM9-1005-319-23.pdf)

Download it - this is a manual EVERY AR owner should have and read. It can help you diagnose and fix most problems, and allow you to tear down and rebuild an AR-15.

I have the Colt manual I was given at armorers school...I wasn't impressed with it.  I like purrrty pics not crummy drawings

Sorry guys, don't know his material –– where can I find info (of course pertaining to the thread topic)?????

I originally requested an armorers checklist as my dept. should be using one annualy for each of our long arms...

If it is going to be for departmental use, you need to get with the armorers.  If that's you, you need to request one from whatever training authority you use.  The one Forest referred to is the Holy Writ for inspections and covers everything.  Tweaks was a little more condensed with everything all in one place and organized as a checklist.
Due to liability I would go with whatever the trainer for your armorers says to use.

Certainly is a good one –– detailed and then some.  Has anyone used these guidelines and created a checklist?  Spreadhseet w. boxes to check - kinda like Glock's?
