Maybe some suggestions, and pointing in the right direction.  I have a Knights Armament SR15 Match, that would like to be a MK12 Mod 1, barrels threaded for the Vortex, Leupold Mark 4 M3 and lets not miss the Spr grip, so what else is needed and where the heck do I buy it from?  I would like to be as authentic as possible.

TIA.....

You will need an OPS 12 model brake and coller.

A Knights front a rear site and Knights bipod mount and a Harris bipod.

The Knights pars can be ordered from OperationParts.com

Arms Med rings for the scope.

The A.R.M.S. #22 rings  that I  went with was a set of high rings because the bell of the scope. But I am thinking of  going with a Larue SPR mount because I like how it moves the scope forward.

The LaRue is a better choice but not correct for a clone.

I guess it depends on how correct he wants it.

Since he wants to use a Vortex then It will not be very correct so then I would go with the LaRue.

Dont want to use the Vortex, who has the OPS Brake & Coller?

The only other thing would be having 2" removed from the barrel, should that be done?

You can get the brake-collar from ADCO or Rainier Arms. ADCO can shorten it to 18" for you and contour the barrel to accept the collar.
