| I am in the process of converting my A2 upper to an A3 upper, i need some advice on brands and how difficult this is. I have the tools necessary and general knowledge about taking the AR 15 apart. I have M4 feed ramps. Also can anybody tell me how to take off the forward assist and dust cover off of my A2 upper? Or should i just buy one with it already installed? Thanks everybody. |

Buy a BCM flat-top with feed ramps, it'll come with a dust cover and FA.
It's not difficult at all if you have the right tools. ETA: here you go, they have them in stock for $109.95 Click Me |
| As mentioned, you can buy an upper with the fa and port door already installed. But if you buy a stripped upper, its easy to remove them from your old one. For the forward assist, just knock out the vertical pin in the housing. For the ejection port door, as soon as you remove the barrel and nut, you can just slide the rod out and not worry about losing that eclip. |
