[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need Some Advice

I am working on building a new AR and don't want to go with the 5.56. Have narrowed it down to 2 calibers that I think would be good for I want. I am mainly going to use this one for hunting season (deer and hogs). Should I go with the 6.8 SPC or the 450 Bushmaster? Pros and cons please. Thanks as always.

What range would the average and longest shots be?

Average would between 50-150. Longest would be about 200-250.

It'll be easier to make hits at that range with the 6.8 due to the flatter trajectory.
