I just put a Daniel defense 7.0 rail on my rifle.  Which are the best rail covers, and where did you get them?  Any pictures?  I did a search for old posts, but did not find a link.  If there is one please post.  If there is not one, please post an opinion.

Bravo has ladders and Magpul stuff

I dont have them but the new scar panels really give you a solid grip.

I prefer the ladder rail covers not only for texture but the most lightweight, but they offer the least amount of rail protection.  Tangodown covers are nice and sturdy but much heavier.

KAC panel covers have always been great. My buddy put it on his DD rifle after I showed him mine.

+1

I come from back in the day before quad rails, so I've found the KAC to have the most familiar feel and look.

i like the Magpul XTM panels. they lock on solid and have a lower profile than the KAC panels when installed.

since they come in 2" sections they typically don't need to be cut down to size, although i have cut a couple in half with good results
