Just got my first AR-15 223. Already had an EOtech red dot site so on her it goes. The AR has the flat top mounting rail and no sights on it. ? is when I install the EOtech it seems like the rifle's front site will be in the way. Maybe after siting in I will find it will be ok and above it but was curious if someone knew if it needed to be rasied with a spacer rail and/or whats best to do this ? Thanks

When you're shooting the rifle, as long as you're not focusing on the front sight you won't even see it with the EOTech. Just keep both eyes open and focus on the target. If you find that it really does bother you there are spacers available that'll raise the EOTech so the iron sights are in the lower 1/3 of the window.

Always forget the using both eyes!! Never have used this site so I assume they'll be an adjustment period. I'll give it a go as is. Thanks
