I managed to lose the spring and the solid piece that fit in the grip for the safety. I am not very experienced in AR's, but the solid part would be called a plunger in a 1911.
Anyway, I found replacement springs, but need to find the other part. Would appreciate the name of the part and info on where I can find one. Thanks much. |
If you have a hard time finding the detent/spring I'd he happy to donate one to the cause-just shoot me an IM or an e-mail. Probably won't have time to drop one into an envelope until Saturday, but I'd be happy to help if needed 
My Colt safety detents will fit just fine in whatever brand of AR you have. |

Thank you guys so much. I received the springs (I finally did something smart and ordered some spares) today and will look for the detent now.
CJan - I have a Colt 6920, so if I cannot find a detent I will let you know and take you up on your kind offer. I won't have a chance to shoot it again for a couple of weeks, so it is not critical to get one in the next few days. |
