| Why do some people install their magpul's sideways where the loop goes in line with the entire base plate rather than side to side? Whats the benefit of doing this rather than the other way? |

It's all user preference in how the magazine is removed from the weapon or mag pouch when using the Magpul.

I see. The way I was talking about is the reversed pull method. Never really saw an explanation for it until now.
