I am just tired of scrubbing my bolt carrier! If I can get a system that is as reliable as the gas tube without the carbon build up then I say; "where can I buy one!"luckily for you, there is no need to scrub the bolt carrier, so stop doing it. "problem" solved. |

Not sure what u mean? My bolt carrier group gets carbon build up. I scrub it to get the carbon build up off. Unsure as to your assertion that there is no need for this. For the guys who just want to purchase the most worked upper on the market in a gas piston configuration.... HERE IT IS!! Quoted:
Here we have a few New products we a Proud to Announce. As some of you may already know we have Teamed up with the Awesome guys over at Adam's Arms to bring one of the Finest dedicated piston uppers to the Market. It is 100% US made from the best components that money can buy, period. There is nothing better. These are the most accurate and most durable piston uppers on the Market. We plan to offer them in 7.5", 10.5" and 16". Here is a break down of the piston uppers- -The Mil-Spec M4 flat top upper receivers were made and designed to be used with our piston system. The op rod hole is the proper diameter so a bushing isn't required at all. All of the uppers will have M4 feed ramps, Spider logo, T-Markings, and Mil-Spec Type III hard coat Anodizing as well as Mil-Spec dry film lube on the inside of the receiver. -The barrels are made from Match Quality stainless steel barrel blanks with a 1/7 twist rate. They will have an M4 barrel extension, They will be chambered in 5.56 Nato and threaded 1/2x28. After each barrel is finished it will be Melonite coated inside and out for excellent corrosion resistance and durability. -The piston block is made from High Quality stainless steel. It is a low profile design that is pinned to the barrel using (2) 1/8 hardened straight pins. It has 3 gas settings, full gas, suppressed, and no gas (single shot). The blocks will also be Melonite coated inside and out. -The piston plug and op rod are both made from High Quality stainless steel and coated inside and out with Melonite. The system can be broke down from the front requiring no tools. -The carriers are a 1pc. design and have skies as well as a champher on the rear of it to help prevent carrier tilt and drag. The carriers will also be Melonite coated inside and out. Each carrier will also be engraved with our Spider logo. -The bolts are spring loaded. They are Mil-Spec, shot peened and MP tested. Each extractor will be fitted with a Viton o-ring. -The rail system used will be a Daniel Defense lite rail. The 16" uppers will have a mid-length gas system, government profile under the hand guard with a 9.0 DD Lite rail. The 10.5" uppers will have a carbine length gas system, medium profile under the hand guard with a 7.0 DD Lite rail and the 7.5" uppers will have a pistol length gas system, heavy profile under the hand guard with a 4.0 DD Lite rail. -Mil-Spec forged charging handle. -Each upper will come with an AAC Blackout suppressor mount which can be upgraded to the Spike's Warthog adjustable muzzle break. -We will also offer optional front and rear Troy sights. Retail on the piston uppers will be $1495 which will include an ST-T2 buffer. The uppers will retail for $1695 with front and rear Troy sites. Click here to pre-order. Here are the pictures of the 16" Mid-Length upper w/Troy sites. http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q160/badazzar15/16inchpiston1.jpg Broke down for cleaning. http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q160/badazzar15/16inchpiston.jpg Well If that wasn't enough we will move on to the next New product. The Spike's Tactical Warthog and Daniel Defense 4.0 Lite rail. The Warthog has been in design and testing for almost a year now. Don't ask me how I kept my mouth shut that long. The Warthog is an Adjustable muzzle break designed to be used in a short barrel CQB application. It directs the blast down range! You can actually adjust the back pressure up or down until you find the sweet spot your little 7"-10" upper needs to cycle properly. The most common problem with short barrels is the lack of back pressure they need to cycle. The Warthog is the most Controllable and Durable muzzle break on the Market when used in a full-auto or semi-auto application. You can also increase or decrease the rate of fire when used in F/A. The body of the Warthog is machined from 303 stainless steel while the cone of the Warthog is machined from an ULTRA high temp proprietary alloy. You can Adjust the Warthog in the field by hand with no tools. It can also be broke down for cleaning the same way. The spring loaded collar on the Warthog is wavy to achieve firm adjustment clicks. In testing every 16 clicks decreased the rate of fire by 14 RPM. We have put thousands and thousands of rounds through the Warthog and have yet been able to burn one up! The Warthog is coated inside and out (except for the cone) with Melonite for corrosion resistance and durability. Here is a picture of the Warthog on our 7.5" piston upper. We choose to use railed blocks on the 7.5" uppers for added sight radius. You can also see that the upper is wearing the New Daniel Defense 4.0 Lite rail. **Note the production upper will have a pinned block**. http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q160/badazzar15/7inchpiston1.jpg Here it is broke down for cleaning. http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q160/badazzar15/7inchpiston.jpg Here you can see what the cone looks like after 6 non-stop beta mag dumps. Like I said its Durable! http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q160/badazzar15/7inchpiston2.jpg As always all of our Products are made in the USA from the Best materials and parts money can buy backed by a full Lifetime Warranty. |
