whats the trick in changing out the followers in a mag?? btw i tried the search .. got no where...

I assume you are having a hard time removing the mag baseplate?

lol no... i didn`t even try... i got them changed... i just work them in from the top...

i assume that isn`t the proper process??

correct.

You are best off removing the bottom plate.
Remove spring (under pressure, watch it) and follower.

You mashed them in from the top?
Double check that you haven't tweaked the feedlips...

In removing the baseplate, DO NOT bend the tabs on the magazine body. There's a hole or slot in the baseplate that you use to lever that end of the plate so it will go over the magazine body and slide out. As soon as the plate is sliding, control the magazine spring and slide it out carefully.
