The UPS man was good to me today.... he delivered the last of my three LMT lowers I've been waiting on to my FFL.  So of course I couldn't wait to go pick them up.

They are two regular single-stage trigger and one two-stage match trigger lower.  All with SOPMOD stocks.  One of the lowers went right onto my LMT piston upper who has been waiting paitently for its mate.  The other (2-stage match) is wating on my Larue Stealth upper to arrive - which hopefully should be here in a week or two.  The 3rd lower was an extra that I ended up with because I was impaitent waiting on the 2-stage lower to come into stock - which it did about a week later.  I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet - I guess you can never have too many lowers with the political climate these days.

Here's the current family.... with the Larue upper on the way..... I feel like an expectant father.

Oh and I bought a membership today too.  With all the help that ARFCOM gave me, it was the least I could do to pay it back.  Although I wonder what the viability of a lawsuit against ARFCOM for infecting me with the BRD is?  Damn you all!

eta:  sorry, no blue couch for the pics

Nice lowers!  I'm going to a guns-how on sat., and I'm hoping to be able to find a couple of these.  One for the Larue stealth billet upper w/M4 cuts that I ordered from BCM about 20 mins ago (gonna be an SPR build) and the 18 in Noveske barrel I've got waiting here, and one for my M4 build which will hopefully sprt a LMT or Colt upper.

One question: I've never used a SOPMOD before.  How well would it work fora SPR type build?  Show I sacrifice buyingthe LMT lowerand buy a stripped on and a UBR instead?  Thnx mate.

I would use a sopmod on a spr or any type of rifle upper

Did you order direct from LMT and how long did you have to wait?

So it would balance out a 18in SS barrell and a rail of 10.0 or so all right?

No definitely not from LMT.  I ordered from 3 different online companies over about a week and a half and start to finish I received the last lower about 3 weeks after I ordered the 1st one.  But in all three cases, they were sold out within about two hours from the posting of "in stock".

Yep, one of the lowers is specifically going to be for an SPR build with a Larue Stealth 18" upper.  I specifically wanted the SOPMOD because it has the best checkrest bar none.  I've tried the PRS and didn't like it - the SOPMOD was just right.  I may switch my EMOD over to my SPR when I finish it - I've heard it has a slightly longer LOP than the SOPMOD.  But just holding the two rifles to my shoulder with the EMOD and SOPMOD side-by side - they feel identical.  I just think the SOPMOD looks ever so slightly better.
