Looking at building a 6.8SPC SBR this summer and am toying with doing a piston setup (maybe Adams, maybe CMMG...
maybe PWS).

Anyway.... I've read some other threads where they weren't "designed" for 6.8 yet. What's really different? Honestly,
if the barrel is .750" dia where the gas block is, is there really any other difference? I know that you kinda have to
tune SBR's with different weight buffers and such to make them reliable with the ammo you are shooting, but what
other differences come into play regarding what the piston sees/does???

The only thing I could imagine is if was a little "under gassed" and you may have to open up the gas port on the
barrel.....

Help me out here guys...

I've got  16" and a 10" LWRC M6A2s in 6.8 and love them.  They run like tops.

I'm asking about the aftermarket piston KITS. I know that Barret and LWRC are awesome...
and I suspect the LMT MRP would be great too.... but....

I'm going to do my own build. I should also mention that this SBR will be suppressed,
hence the unknowns of: drop in piston kits + 6.8 + suppressed + SBR = ??????

Anyone else?

Chris at Addax has installed the PWS on some 6.8 rifles already
