| pretty cool with the triangular handguards, but I'm not a fan of optics mounted on top of carry handle, just me. Don't know about Texas, but in VA all dealers are required to do a transfer, it's the prvate dealers that don't have to, it's the "gun show loophole." |

I am with you on that In colorado it is the same as VA, gun shows dealers have to "call it in", which thankfully 4 years ago changed to the internet, private can be unregistered. |

During the ban I went to a gun show and bought a Bushy post ban HBAR A1 upper like that with the bolt carrier/handlefor $250 out the door from a dealer. When I say OTD, I mean I ran OTD before the dealer realized I stole it for that price.
That HBAR turned out to be the most accurate bbl I own. I eventually swapped the bbl to a flat top upper and put free float handguard on it. It is my long range target/varmint rifle. The A1 upper was swapped to make a retro A1 lightweight CAR which is my favorite. The triangle handguards are on a Colt SP1 clone. Ah, the good old days of the ban. |
