Can anybody tell me why some Noveske N4 lowers I see are marked .556 MM and others have no marking other than N4? What is the general observations regarding their lowers? I know everyone has only positive regards for the uppers, but I don't find much written about the lowly lower? What the consensus? Anything to be aware of should I decide to buy one? Thanks for the feedback.

The lower on the complete Noveske I bought is marked .556 and the stripped Noveske lower I have does not have this marking. I'm not sure if this is the norm though.

To be honest there's nothing really special other than the logo. The quality is the same as you would find on Colt, LMT, etc. Most of their lowers are made by CMT and a few by LAR.

They've just recently started getting lowers from a new source, this is the second time that this has happened that I know of. They were getting them from CMT, then LAR, not sure who they are getting them from now.

The new lowers are not marked anything like the ones I bought back in October. The serial numbers are different, too.
