Well the title says it all. I went home yesterday and low and behold, 2 new Colts!!
My wife stopped at the local gun shop to see if there was any new news on the LMT that we ordered like 4 months ago. Needless to say, the LMT was still not in so she felt bad and bought the only 2 Ar's in the place. One is a 6520 and the other is a 6721. I know neither is the 6920 that everyone raves over but I was happy. Oh and the LMT is still on order

Great carbines and good find. 
I also have a Colt 6721 and it's my favorite rollmark because it says "AR-15A3 Tactical Carbine" and I used to have a Colt Lightweight Carbine which is similar to your 6520 except mine had a fixed short A2 fixed stock, they shoot great, maybe your wife can shoot the lightweight carbine also. My LMT carbine also runs fine and when you get yours, you won't be disappointed and it's the same configuration as the Colt 6920. I would highly recommend getting the BCM extractor upgrade kit from Bravo Company, either just use the extractor O-ring or the extra power extractor spring or both. Get plenty of ammo and mags and let us know how it shoots.

Damn! Some wife. " Honey, I remembered to pick up your beer and also I picked up these two Colt AR's
for you." Ya know, I had a dream kinda like that once. Then I woke up to reality and my girlfriend complaing that if I didn't spend all my money on lousy guns I coulda bought her a better birthday present.. Include pics ...and some of your new Colts too
