No... it wont help me shoot better in fact it isn't for me.. it is for an upper that is a retirement present for someone in the Air Force retiring after 33 yrs of service.... was trying to make the upper a bit more personal for him. Catfight Thanks, clearly I didn't expect the thread to go where it went... was just lookin' for folks that could do the engraving work... I simply wanted to honor my friend for his years of service. Anyway, I would do some checking for people who do the laser engraving of other metal objects and see if they can do something custom for you. It would probably be less costly than going through an actual gunsmith or someone who specializes in engraving for firearms. Good luck no matter what.
