I've got a Bushmaster V-Match 20" barrel.  I want to put a flash suppressor on it. Can I leave the barrel on the rifle and thread it myself with a die? My little brother is a machinist so I could tear it down and have him do it for me. I was just wondering if there was a simpler way to do it. My other question is that its a post ban rifle. So is there anything I should do (pics, document, date) about threading the barrel now incase the ban is put back into effect? I want it to stay legal.... Or am I over thinking it, lol.....

+3 on ADCO

I sent a post ban upper to them in October of 2004. It was perfect; very quick turnaround.

I sent them another post ban upper last week, which they received on Friday of last week. I got the email this morning saying that UPS would be delivering it to my door TODAY! That's fuggin' fast! I'll let you know how it looks when I get home.

Don't let just anybody do it. I got mine back from a so called machinest. He threaded it crocked. Pissed me OFF. And all he wants to do is make excuies. Still took me for $100.00. I don't now weather to make him buy me a new barrel or just get my money back. I now what I'd like to do. So, be careful who you send it to. Do your homework!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got it today as promised! Sorry, I'm no photographer. These aren't for artsy purposes anyway. The before was just a target crown.
