Can someone tell me the length that the Vortex adds to total barrel length when mounted?

Try a B.E. Myers Flash Eliminator, it should get your right around 16" on a 14.3" barrel.
How did you end up with a 14.3" barrel? Boogered threads? Not my photo: I had never heard of them until earlier tonight. While surfing, I came across their site. I emailed them earlier tonight about their 249F as it is listed at 2.75". I would think that this would bring me over 16". I think that I am at 14.3 or real close. This is what happened to cause the shorter barrel. I have not fired it yet as I am a little hesitant about permanently damaging the barrel. I am still not sure what I want to do, but I have talked with ADCO already. |
